The civium Romanorum colony of Minturnae and her harbour at the mouth of the Garigliano river were inserted during the Republican age in a trade system on large scale. The phenomenon is well documented by local epigraphy. This paper focuses on the analysis of instrumentum domesticum and of the texts related to the magistri Minturnenses.
