AP 11, 146 è costruito su un paradosso: l'oratore Flacco è sicuro che il suo greco migliorerà dopo un soggiorno a Cipro (la patria dei solecismi!). Abstract
This paper offers a new interpretation of three epigrams of Ammianos. In AP 11, 16 the use of the Homeric gloss "enchesimoros" implies a malicious metapoiesis of a Lucillios' verse. The meaning of AP 11, 146 is paradoxical: the orator Flaccus is sure he will improve his Greek after a stay in Cyprus (the soloecisms' home!). It will be also proved as wrong the common reading of AP 11. 180 "nonais" as a bilingual pun.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
