Abstract
Suicidal behaviors present significant challenges for individuals and for public health systems and the investigation of variables able to predict suicide behaviors is a major goal for suicidologists and health professionals. The aim of the present chapter is to review the most important research on the relationship between anger and suicide risk and to examine the biological factors involved, sex differences and associations with psychopathology. Anger and the interaction between aggression and impulsivity may be important risk factors for suicide, independently of any specific psychiatric diagnosis. © 2011 by Nova Science Publishers, Inc.
