Il linguaggio “inclusivo”, che negli auspici di femministe e linguisti is not narrow and prescriptive; it does not aim to create a canon of “politically correct” words. It aims instead to clarify and distinguish, to move away from labelling and name-calling. Shifting the focus in the media, we soon realized that while registering the increased use of non-sexist dellinguaggio in the major media, the use of the masculine is generic ancoramolto spread, concealing the female presence behind what is believed to be the reference- Normally, the maschioper precisely. The darkening of the feminine takes place in a language that identifies men and women leloro sexual characteristics or their social roles, promoting sexist stereotypes. The language of "inclusive", which in the auspices of feminists and linguistiis not narrow and prescriptive, it does not aim to create a canon of "politically correct" words. It aimsinstead to clarify and Distinguish, to move away from labeling and name-calling. In doing so, it reflectsthe positive changes taking place in our society, and it genuinely empowers Enables (MILLS 1992:152).I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
