The volume illustrates a part of the results of the research project entitled: Presencia italiana en Argentina - Valoración y difusión Interactiva de los Bienes Histórico Arquitectónicos. The research program saw the participation of the Universidad Nacional de La Plata in Argentina, Buenos Aires, of the Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata, of the Universidad Nacional del Litoral, Santa Fe and for Italy of Sapienza University. of Rome and the University of Cassino. The scope of the research concerned the issues related to the management of the architectural heritage; knowledge and cataloging for the protection and enhancement of Latin American cultural heritage. Research has been carried out in the Argentinean and Italian archives and surveying campaigns with the collaboration of local scholars for the formation of archives and computerized forms for the collection of news, bibliographies and historical and current images. Il volume illustra una parte dei risultati del progetto di ricerca dal titolo: Presencia italiana en Argentina – Valoración y difusión Interactiva de los Bienes Histórico Arquitectónicos. Il Programma di ricerca ha visto la partecipazione per l’Argentina dell’Universidad Nacional de La Plata, Buenos Aires, dell’Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata, dell’ Universidad Nacional del Litoral, Santa Fe e per l’Italia dell’Università Sapienza di Roma e dell'Università di Cassino. L’ambito della ricerca ha riguardato le tematiche relative alla gestione del patrimonio architettonico; la conoscenza e la catalogazione per la salvaguardia e la valorizzazione del patrimonio culturale latino americano. Sono state svolte ricerche negli archivi argentini ed italiani e campagne di rilevamento con la collaborazione degli studiosi locali per la formazione di archivi e schede informatizzate per la raccolta delle notizie, delle bibliografie e delle immagini storiche e attuali.
