This Volume contains fifteen selected, among many others, articles written by Prof Vinicio C. Boffi during his long and very fruitful career. Papers have been selected in view of enlightening his special and often unique results concerning modern kinetic theory. Many challenging analytical problems are originated by applications dealt with in these results, and more are expected in the future. The mathematical methodology adopted is by itself of interest, for example contraction mapping and iterative methods are used to prove existence and uniqueness to classes of nonlinear kinetic equations, with considerable fall-out on the investigation of nonlinear integral equations and on other analytical manipulations of distribution functions. This variety of subjects motivates a careful reading of this book also for a similar detailed analysis of different subjects or fields of applications.

Abstract
This variety of subjects motivates a careful reading of this book also for a similar detailed analysis of different subjects or fields of applications.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
