The epilogus of the Aitia (Frg. 112 Pf.) is studied in its multiple exegetical problems (in particular for the expression pezon nomon ...), and interpreted as a thematic transition to Giambi, ie as a particular variety of “raccordo editoriale”. Such an interpretation of the epilogus of the Aitia constitutes an important precedent for the two sphragides of the works that Virgil could publish in life, the Eclogues and Georgics (also, in particular, for the tematic transition that can be recognized between the epilogus of the Eclogues and the beginning of the Georgics). An appendix is added on the dream of Ennius in the Annales in relation to the model of Callimachus.
