The adsorption of IgG, IgM and IgA from human serum onto protein A immobilized on sepharose was investigated at 298K and pH 8.2. Furthermore, adsorption isotherms of pure IgG in a buffered solution at the same pH were determined at 283K, 298K and 313K. Pure IgG adsorption data were correlated by the Langmuir equation, whereas Ideal Adsorbed Solution (IAS) theory by Radke and Prausnitz was used to model the thermodynamic behaviour of the multicomponent system. © 1993 Kodansha Ltd.

Abstract
The adsorption of IgG, IgM and IgA from human serum onto protein A immobilized on sepharose was investigated at 298K and pH 8.2. Furthermore, adsorption isotherms of pure IgG in a buffered solution at the same pH were determined at 283K, 298K and 313K. Pure IgG adsorption data were correlated by the Langmuir equation, whereas Ideal Adsorbed Solution (IAS) theory by Radke and Prausnitz was used to model the thermodynamic behaviour of the multicomponent system. © 1993 Kodansha Ltd.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
