The two outer facades of the palace presented various pathologies of decay, mainly due to the alveolisation, pulverisation, erosion, disgregation, the presence of black encrustations and some fissures. The intervention of architectural restoration followed the doctrinal orientations pertaining to its discipline, elaborated in the enunciations of critical and critical-conservative restoration, as well as the directives of the Italian Charter of Restoration of 1972.The criterion followed in the restoration of the surfaces was that of "minimum intervention", that is to say, of works that were truly proportional and compatible with the deterioration affecting the monument to be treated.

Abstract
The two outer facades of the palace presented various pathologies of decay, mainly due to the alveolisation, pulverisation, erosion, disgregation, the presence of black encrustations and some fissures. The intervention of architectural restoration followed the doctrinal orientations pertaining to its discipline, elaborated in the enunciations of critical and critical-conservative restoration, as well as the directives of the Italian Charter of Restoration of 1972.The criterion followed in the restoration of the surfaces was that of "minimum intervention", that is to say, of works that were truly proportional and compatible with the deterioration affecting the monument to be treated.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
