Abstract
Starting from the studies devoted to the social movements from classical sociology as Max Weber and Durkheim, Marx and authors like Sighele, Le Bon, Freud, Reich, and Canetti, the book goes on to analyze the contemporary theories of resource mobilization and the sociology of ' action to define an analytical model aimed at explaining the emergence, construction and the meanings produced by collective movements in social life today. It is explained that arise from the resistance movements that individuals and groups do against the impositions of cultural actors executives in place to monitor financial flows and the production and dissemination of information rather than the production of goods, especially in the production and dissemination of information, to determine outstretched symbols and cultural codes of the various areas of social life, ranging from health care to education and from this to the media and control of the relationship between society and the natural environment. These collective movements that are distinct from fundamentalist conducted also analyzed in the book, for the fact that you put on the terrain of political democracy and the recognition of equality between all the differences. This is to defend sometimes, as occurs in underdeveloped regions of the world such as Chiapas, interests and cultural identities are threatened by the economic strategies of these actors and directors from the impositions designed to cover the specific cultural groups and ethnicities and, sometimes, as occurs on a global scale with the movement for the defense of the environment, to pursue the assertion of alternative models of development to the existing one.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
