This chapter is divided into different sections illustrating operations and banking services. Each macro-area is discussed according to the following articulation: • the first part of the chapter is devoted to the representation of the technical-operative of the different types of deposits which the bank has access; • The second part discusses the custodial services traditionally offered by the bank to its customers, on the basis of an existing current account, in order to meet the needs of storage and safekeeping of assets and financial instruments; • The third part is intended for the collection and payment instruments; • The fourth part is reserved to the business of the bank turned to the production of products and services direct to corporate customers, ie to non-small size; • The fifth part is devoted to the operation of the bank in the context of asset management, with specific reference to that area of activity that goes by the name of "investment services"; • The sixth part is paid on transactions and banking services in foreign currencies, pausing briefly on foreign exchange transactions and loans offered by the bank to customers in a currency other than the base currency (the euro in our country); • The seventh part of the chapter deals with a summary of the main financial derivatives. In particular, they analyze the forwards and futures, options contracts, swap contracts and structured products.
Questo capitolo è suddiviso in diversi paragrafi che illustrano le operazioni e i servizi bancari. Ciascuna macro-area è discussa secondo l’articolazione seguente: • la prima parte del capitolo è dedicata alla rappresentazione delle caratteristiche tecnico-operative delle diverse forme di raccolta cui la banca ha accesso; • la seconda parte discute i servizi di custodia tradizionalmente offerti dalla banca alla propria clientela, sulla base di un preesistente rapporto di conto corrente, al fine di soddisfare le esigenze di deposito e custodia di beni e strumenti finanziari; • la terza parte è rivolta agli strumenti di incasso e pagamento; • la quarta parte è riservata all’area d’affari della banca rivolta alla produzione di prodotti e servizi diretti alla clientela corporate, ossia alle imprese non di piccola dimensione; • la quinta parte è dedicata all’operatività della banca nell’ambito della gestione del risparmio, con specifico riferimento a quell’area di attività che va sotto il nome di “servizi di investimento”; • la sesta parte è rivolta alle operazioni e ai servizi bancari in valuta, soffermandosi brevemente sulle operazioni in cambi e sui finanziamenti offerti dalla banca alla clientela in una valuta diversa da quella di riferimento (nel nostro Paese l’euro); • la settima parte del capitolo affronta sinteticamente i principali strumenti finanziari derivati. In particolare, sono analizzati i contratti forward e future, i contratti di opzione, i contratti swap ed i prodotti strutturati.
