Abstract
The increasingly intense specialization in the field of architectural restoration in recent years has increased the number of skills and at the same time reduced the dialogue between them, often lack the hard and humble work of mutual attention, "translation" of languages, interconnection . The daily life of the restoration is not made of large workgroups, but rather blocks of professionals who must choose how to direct their own investigations and their own project and to do so, they must find ways to manage the immense wealth of information and experience which has now accumulated. This book aims to steer the need for understanding and guide further appropriate inquiries, provide an overview of "orderly" complexity. Because the understanding of the complexity of the restoration is not the starting point, but the intermediate level of cultural growth that must come to formulate proposals and interpretations: the origin of this process, in fact, there is only the naive and dangerous claim to reduce the restoration to a series of recipes to choose from time to time. A stronger awareness allows you to report the possible tools available to a unified method, or to undertake the only legitimate path that connects a good diagnostic for correct intervention conservative. It is therefore offer an organic synthesis and tidy on the role of technology in architectural restoration, starting with the story of the restoration and a theoretical and methodological reflection, then moved to the most common areas of application (surveying and representation, development, diagnostics, consolidation restoration of moisture, surface degradation, intervention on the surfaces).I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
