Abstract
A curious fate binds the stone and design, perhaps because the first is the oldest building material and the second oldest design tool. The stone provided the first support drawing, playing the role that in the past has been committed to paper and computers today. The stone work, made explicit the link between the design model and the implementation of 'work. The relationship between stone and design can be traced back thus two seemingly distant fields of study: the restoration and stereotomy. By attending the restoration will learn to recognize the signs of processing and you will discover the techniques of cutting and assembly of the blocks, ie the design is realized in the fieldI documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
