The new Marina Bay Sands integrated project in Singapore responds not only to a vast, unitary and holistic architectural vision but also to an architecture full of elements of innovation and experimentation. It is a project in which a collection of functionally and espressively different parts overcome their individual architectural scales to become a total architectural-urban system, with meanings that exceed the confines of mere construction to render architecture a symbol of and reference of the city.
