We define weak implication H ->(phi) E ("H weakly implies E under phi") through the relation phi(E vertical bar H) = 1, where phi is a (coherent) conditional uncertainty measure. By considering various such measures with different levels of generality, we get different sets of "inferential rules", that correspond to those of default logic when phi reduces to a conditional probability.

Abstract
We define weak implication H ->(phi) E ("H weakly implies E under phi") through the relation phi(E vertical bar H) = 1, where phi is a (coherent) conditional uncertainty measure. By considering various such measures with different levels of generality, we get different sets of "inferential rules", that correspond to those of default logic when phi reduces to a conditional probability.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
