This study addresses for the first time in a systematic way the issue of Trace of construction, meaning by that term those engravings representing the drawings, made directly on the architectural artifacts, which these designs were intended. It also notes that in some historical periods and in certain geographical areas the use of the tracks had become standard practice in the conduct of a construction site, is the case of the tracks identified in a number of Greek archaeological sites, archaic and Hellenistic monuments in the main Romans, especially in the Imperial age, and in the main Romanesque and Gothic cathedrals in France. This text is characterized by an extensive catalog that collect many of the traces identified and studied. In addition, the text, dealing in particular with the engravings on the pavement input Musoleum of Augustus in Rome (as well as those on the stalls of Santa Maria Capua Vetere Amphitheater) collects a large collection graphic and iconographic inherent Mausoleum Augustus and the surrounding areas.

Abstract
In addition, the text, dealing in particular with the engravings on the pavement input Musoleum of Augustus in Rome (as well as those on the stalls of Santa Maria Capua Vetere Amphitheater) collects a large collection graphic and iconographic inherent Mausoleum Augustus and the surrounding areas.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
