Mishima Yukio. Colori proibiti.

This product is the translation, from Japanese into Italian, of Kinjiki (1950), one of the most ambitious works of the Japanese writer Mishima Yukio. Through the experiences of the young and beautiful Yûichi, the author deals with complex issues, such as the relation between the artist/creator and his masterpiece, or between ethics and aesthetics. The original text, interestingly complex, has been translated in its entirety. This made a conspicuous headway when compared to the main, already existing translations in western languages (in French and in English) of the same work, which suffered consistent cuts of the original texts. Si tratta della traduzione, dall'italiano al giapponese, di Kinjiki (1950), una delle opere più ambiziose dello scrittore giapponese Mishima Yukio che, attraverso le vicende del bellissimo giovane Yûichi, affronta temi quali il rapporto tra l'artista/creatore e la sua creazione, e tra etica ed estetica. Il testo, di notevole complessità, è stato tradotto integralmente, rappresentando un passo in avanti rispetto alle principali traduzioni esistenti in lingue occidentali, in inglese e in francese, che invece patiscono di consistenti interventi selettivi sul testo originale. La traduzione, ristampata in volume singolo per i tipi della Feltrinelli, era precedentemente apparsa in Mishima.
