This flora has been published in digital form. This CD, the third and the last of the series concerning the Flora of Coastal Marine Algae from Lazio (Central Italy), contains the descriptions and photographs of 33 species of green algae and 15 species of Corallinales (the calcified red algae which were excluded from the first CD on Rhodophyta). With the issuance of this CD, the series now contains the descriptions of 203 species. Our main objective in realising this flora was to provide adequate iconographic documentation of the species, which can be useful in identifying the marine algae of the Mediterranean, for which iconographies are still scarce.
