The book proposes a reinterpretation of one of the most important and decisive research conducted in the field of communication and media studies, by Paul F. Lazarsfeld and Elihu Katz, published in 1955 in the U.S. under the title "" Personal Influence. The Part Played by People in the Flow of Mass Communications "" and in 1968 in Italy under the title "" The personal influence in the mass media. '" Years later, the research methodology, empirical evidence collected and the theoretical calculations made by the authors continue to provide useful information for understanding the current communicative reality. In particular, together with the level of historical reconstruction, the choice to actualize the theory of the two-step flow of communication makes it possible to emphasize the importance of a work that first made it possible to overcome the presumed omnipotence media.
The Part Played by People in the Flow of Mass Communications" e nel 1968 in Italia con il titolo "L'influenza personale nelle comunicazioni di massa".

Abstract
The book proposes a reinterpretation of one of the most important and decisive research conducted in the field of communication and media studies, by Paul F. Lazarsfeld and Elihu Katz, published in 1955 in the U.S. under the title "" Personal Influence. The Part Played by People in the Flow of Mass Communications "" and in 1968 in Italy under the title "" The personal influence in the mass media. '" Years later, the research methodology, empirical evidence collected and the theoretical calculations made by the authors continue to provide useful information for understanding the current communicative reality. In particular, together with the level of historical reconstruction, the choice to actualize the theory of the two-step flow of communication makes it possible to emphasize the importance of a work that first made it possible to overcome the presumed omnipotence media.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
