The contribution presents part of the results of the experimentation conducted by the author in the target area of Marina di Latina (Lt), affected by hydraulic risk phenomena linked to climate change, as part of the activities of the PhD program in Territorial, Urban and Landscape Planning of the PDTA Department of the Sapienza University of Rome. In particular, the aim of this contribution will be to illustrate the methodological path that has led to the experimentation of an integrated evaluation procedure composed of a multidimensional and parametric matrix, aimed at assessing the effectiveness of site-specific project actions, based on the macro-strategies of urban resilience: adaptation, defence and delocalisation, in the reduction of the hydraulic risk component that affects and characterises the target area, as well as to explain the main results of the experimentation. In this sense, the assessment process supports the definition of new theoretical-methodological and operational references for the updating and innovation of the prescriptive apparatus of the Local Plan, aimed at improving the processes of urban planning, territorial government and regulation of the transformations induced by the phenomena related to climate change, with particular attention to the urban coastal areas, identified as fragile territories, i.e. exposed to the hydraulic risk component.
