This book tells the story of the experiments of the 1960s — from Archigram to Kurokawa, from Sacripanti to Friedman — through Neridia, a city suspended over the Mediterranean. The dream of Procida breaks into a thousand pieces that slip along the narrow walls of the suspended skyscrapers. Using a geometric and slightly extreme language, like the utopias of the past, Neridia takes shape piece by piece: a possible city, made of layers, overlaps, and imagination, suspended between sea and architecture.

Questo libro racconta le sperimentazioni degli anni Sessanta — da Archigram a Kurokawa, da Sacripanti a Friedman — attraverso Neridia, una città sospesa sul Mediterraneo. Il sogno di Procida si rompe in mille pezzi che si infilano sulle pareti strette dei grattacieli sospesi. Con un linguaggio geometrico e un po’ estremo, come le utopie del passato, Neridia prende forma pezzo per pezzo: una città possibile, fatta di strati, sovrapposizioni e immaginazione, sospesa tra mare e architettura.
