The inscriptional records of Dramatic Festivals from Rome identified by Luigi Moretti are unique in terms of genre and content. The inscriptions, found in various locations in Rome, are reproductions of epitomes relating to the victories of actors and authors of Attic and Rhodian theatre, both comic and tragic. This contribution attempts to systematically reconsider these documents, proposing a new reconstruction of the medium on which the epigraphic texts were written, a hypothesis for identifying the monument on which they would have been displayed and, finally, an at-tempt to define the historical and cultural context in which the Rhodian competitions would have been mentioned.

Abstract
The inscriptional records of Dramatic Festivals from Rome identified by Luigi Moretti are unique in terms of genre and content. The inscriptions, found in various locations in Rome, are reproductions of epitomes relating to the victories of actors and authors of Attic and Rhodian theatre, both comic and tragic. This contribution attempts to systematically reconsider these documents, proposing a new reconstruction of the medium on which the epigraphic texts were written, a hypothesis for identifying the monument on which they would have been displayed and, finally, an at-tempt to define the historical and cultural context in which the Rhodian competitions would have been mentioned.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
