This paper outlines how the social arts can facilitate a process of awareness, drawing on the experiences of two AIMF projects: PUZZLE, which focuses on capacity building within the "Welcoming" System, and LIFE, which addresses the socio-economic inclusion of migrants. The article highlights both the strengths and challenges of these initiatives, beginning with an exploration of the underlying challenge of social work: shifting from a horizon of mere aid to a vision of paradigmatic change.
