The Church of Sant’Andrea Apostolo in Subiaco, built between 1776 and 1789 on the site of an earlier medieval structure, became a cathedral in 1876. It was severely damaged in 1944 and later restored by Florestano Di Fausto. Designed by Pietro Camporese at the initiative of Giovanni Angelo Braschi, it reflects Roman Neoclassicism, with a two-tiered façade and a Latin-cross plan enriched with chapels and marble altars.
