This volume is the result of a profitable alliance between two research projects: the Sapienza University one “Negotiating Stories in Cohabitation: Dynamics and Narratives of Peace in the Great Empires of the Past (from Antiquity to Present Times)” and the Marie Curie Skłodowska one “Relcapetown - Religious Super-Diversity in Cape Town. Dynamics of Leadership and Territorialization Through Religious Spaces in the Migration Process”. The book is organized towards two main axes: the superdiversity—especially following its religious acceptance—and the peacebuilding. It aims to discuss and analyse the relationship between these two themes, both through theorization and concrete case studies, taking into account the privileged perspective of anthropology—but not limited to it, according to the intrinsic transdisciplinary focus of the category.
