This book aims to explore the impact of art, culture and the “Made in Italy” industries in strengthening gender equality and social inclusion, underscoring how these areas can contribute to a fair and inclusive future. The relationship between art, culture, and gender has been extensively analyzed in the international literature, focusing on how these fields serve as tools for social change and for representing gender diversity. The purpose of this call is to analyze how cultural and artistic representations, as well as the concept of “Made in Italy”, can challenge and reshape traditional gender norms, fostering a deeper understanding of social dynamics and contributing to greater equity and inclusion. This compendium of research is developed to offer a clear representation of gender perspectives on the main emerging strands of study according to the pillars discussed above. The main strands investigated in this editorial work are: – Art, culture, and inclusion in the gender domain; – Gender issues within entrepreneurial, innovation, and made-in-context; – Sustainability and disclosure for gender equality.

Abstract

The purpose of this call is to analyze how cultural and artistic representations, as well as the concept of “Made in Italy”, can challenge and reshape traditional gender norms, fostering a deeper understanding of social dynamics and contributing to greater equity and inclusion. This compendium of research is developed to offer a clear representation of gender perspectives on the main emerging strands of study according to the pillars discussed above.
