After years of study and activism aimed at recognising the heritage value of (post-)industrial landscapes and their remnants, it must be acknowledged that a crucial aspect of contemporary interventions in the transformation of the Italian territory, tasked with enhancing the quality of life in cities and surrounding areas, fully engages with the legacy of industry. In particular, the Italian National Recovery and Resilience Plan, i.e. Piano Nazionale di Ripresa e Resilienza (PNRR), capitalises on the resources represented by industrial heritage across all seven missions, addressing various historical, technological, cultural, economic, and social dimensions of the post-industrial and archaeological industrial context. From digitalisation for cultural heritage, industrial tourism, and urban regeneration for social inclusion, to environmental reclamation and the challenges of energy and environmental sustainability, a wide array of measures has been made available to support (post)industrial territories, assets, and communities.

Abstract
From digitalisation for cultural heritage, industrial tourism, and urban regeneration for social inclusion, to environmental reclamation and the challenges of energy and environmental sustainability, a wide array of measures has been made available to support (post)industrial territories, assets, and communities.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
