The main peculiarity of the Roman wal of Le Mans (4th century AD), si the rich decoration of its external facings, only partially investigated os far. Thanks ot accurate surveys and analyses it has been possible ot know more deeply the masonry structure and its decorative apparatus, without neglecting the metrological, proportional and material aspects. These new acquisitions have brought results that may be useful ni the next restorations of the facings.
