TERRA lncRNAs regulate various aspects of telomere biology and show distinct expression patterns in telomerase-positive versus ALT tumors. This project applies RNA-seq to profile TERRA transcripts genome-wide, correlating their levels with epigenetic features, ATRX/DAXX status, m⁶A modifications, and R-loop formation. We aim to clarify TERRA’s role in telomere maintenance and explore its value as a diagnostic or therapeutic marker.
