Il presente numero nasce dal desideri di approfondire alcuni passaggi storico-artistici meno conosciuti della vicenda architettonica di Roma e dei suoi dintorni. Attraverso letture incrociate spalmate su un ampio spettro temporale, questo numero della rivista "L'architettura delle città" persegue indagini mirate e disgiunte nella speranza che un arricchimento del patrimonio nozionistico possa tornare utile in futuro per ulteriori puntuali approfondimenti.
