Abstract
Rosa Del Conte (1907-2011) – university professor of Romanian language and literature at the University of Milan and later at the University of Rome – sees a decisive and defining experience for her own human, intellectual and academic experience in the years of “education” and work spent in Romania (1942-1948). During these years, she gathered fundamental friends for her, with whom she remained in contact even after repatriation. By reading and quoting appropriately the letters kept in her archive, we aim to reconstruct her biography, highlighting the relevant correspondence relations and demonstrating how the distance from “Official Romania” (she refuses to return to Romania even after the fall of communism to collect her diplomas) does not coincide with a cooling of personal relationsI documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
