This chapter examines how marginalized individuals reconfigure public spaces through everyday actions, challenging exclusionary norms. The study emphasizes their presence and practices in reshaping spaces and resisting stigmatization. Two case studies focus on people experiencing homelessness and those dealing with mental health challenges, revealing how these groups redefine public spaces, blurring traditional boundaries and reframing the margins from a perspective of subjectivity. One case highlights survival-driven creativity in space use, while the other illustrates the navigation of physical and digital spaces through hybrid practices. The concept of refiguration becomes central, evaluating public space quality from the viewpoint of those affirming their subjectivity through resistance and critique.
