Abstract
“Sustainable development” and “Circular economy” are recent global objectives that have been attracting a great deal of attention to address environmental issues, especially in the waste management area. “Tires” and “Turbine blades” are one the most critical types of waste worldwide. Therefore, looking out for industrial-scale, low-cost, and applicable recycling methods for these EoL materials is gaining prevalence day by day. Possibly, in this research, tire waste recycling will be examined. The primary goal is to devulcanize ground rubber with the help of shear and heat in an extruder. Glass fiber-reinforced composites recyclates, not only could enhance the shear stress in the extruder but also could improve the rubber pellets' mechanical properties. So these recyclates will be introduced into the process to check their effect. The crosslink density before the process and the extent and quality of devulcanization will be evaluated.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
