RISONANZE E INTRECCI LUNGO LA ROTTA BALCANICA. UNA LETTURA PEDAGOGICA

The book reconstructs a volunteer mission in the Western Balkans aimed at monitoring migratory flows and supporting local associations. Through the testimonies of some women active in the field of solidarity along the ‘Balkan Route’, a biographical and pedagogical path emerges that highlights relational skills and the ability to translate experience into welcoming practices. These skills not only strengthen solidarity action, but also help facilitate the migrants' journey, offering them tools to face obstacles and choices. The reflection is set in the geopolitical context of South-Eastern Europe, marked by uncertain paths of integration into the EU, and interweaves current migrations with historical memories of past conflicts. In this interweaving, an empathic resonance develops between women and migrants, which becomes an interpretative key to their engagement.
