This study is based on research conducted by the author between 2021 and 2023 at the Library and Archive of Gianfranco Baruchello, with the aim of contributing to the ongoing publication of the Catalogue Raisonné of the artist, edited by Carla Subrizi. The contribution aims to give attention to the tools responsible for defining the final profile of the work, paying attention to two cases of works that emerged during the research and of which trace had been lost. Since this is a work in the process of being defined, the research presented here does not claim to be exhaustive but rather to build a solid basis for their historical-artistic contextualization and, at the same time, to focus on the problems that emerged in the process of their cataloguing.
