Guidelines for developing digital twins for built environment management

Digital Twins (DTs) are considered key for construction industry digital transition. Nevertheless, the absence of standards for their implementation can hinder their widespread adoption. This study addresses this gap through the development of guidelines for the design and implementation of DTs throughout the built environment lifecycle. Future research will expand these guidelines to natural environment management, addressing climate change challenges such as territorial resilience.
