In the first part of this talk we give an overview of Doplicher-Roberts construction of field algebra in high dimensional AQFT. Motivated by this theory, in the search of an analogue in conformal field theory, we give results on the following two questions: construction of C*-tensor structures in module representation categories of VOA, and construction of braided tensor equivalences among fusion categories.
