La diffusione degli Augustea. Dall’analisi puntuale alla ricostruzione di un fenomeno complesso in Italia e nelle province iberiche

This paper is named after the namesake PhD project and aims to summarize the current updates of the project which was presented in February 2023. The PhD project will concern the development and diffusion of the phenomenon of Augustea with an architectural and topographical focus, mainly considering the Italian peninsula and the western provinces. The work is still in progress and the Iberian provinces have not yet been analyzed. Still, I would like to present here the main challenges and the solutions implemented within the last year of work. This choice was made to highlight the reasons for some decisions made during the process and to stimulate further discussion on how to improve the work.
