This paper presents some results of the Qu&Heri Project (started in December 2021), funded by the Sapienza University of Rome and the Italian Ministry of University and Research, part of the “Green & Innovation” PNR funding. The focus is mapping and monitoring modern quarries with respect to the possible damage they can do to cultural heritage in central-southern Italy. In Italy there are several cases of modern quarries that have destroyed archaeological contexts, and current cases that need to be monitored in order to prevent it from happening again. A general overview of the project and the mapping carried out so far will be presented to determine which areas are most at risk. It will also provide a historical understanding of the impact of modern quarrying on cultural heritage..

Abstract
It will also provide a historical understanding of the impact of modern quarrying on cultural heritage..I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
