The Working Condition in Tourism Sector In and Between Italy and Albania. Some Research Questions for Better Knowledge

Tourism is considered both in Italy and Albania an economic sector with the greatest potential for development of enterprise and employment. Specifically, between the two countries are growing at the same time the share of investments in touristic enterprises, the spent for tourism consumption and a cross-border work mobility, characterised by the seasonality of the offer. Considering this, from the point of view of the sociology of work, it becomes interesting to study on a comparative basis the working conditions in the sector of the two countries, a factor that the literature on the subject shows to be relevant in employment growth, both positively and negatively. It is also necessary that this reading of the phenomenon be conducted in a broader perspective, which considers what is happening in the different Mediterranean countries, European and beyond.
