The text aims to present and describe the operations of Internal Colonization in Sicilian Latifondo that were implemented in the Fascist era, reconstructed through archive documentation, Regime’s administrative and fiscal sources. These sources are the result of preparatory investigations initiated by various fascist bodies, whose purpose was to collect sample data on the Sicilian territory regarding its environmental, social and economic conditions, as a basic study to track criticalities and to create the guidelines of transformation of the Sicilian agricultural landscape in early 900s.
