This research aims to restore an image and an interpretation of the city and its metropolitan territory that are different from the consolidated ones. Therefore, alongside the explosion of the urban, which is not only apparently unstoppable settlement diffusion and dispersion, but also a reorganization of people's lives, we are witnessing a redefinition of the weights, of the functional relations, of the very perception of the city that its inhabitants have of it. The aim is to restore the complexity and articulation of the settlement organization and of the forms of living that now characterize the Capital as a vast inhabited territory, within which centers and suburbs multiply, but also the functional, environmental, settlement, social relations, of the organization of daily life, going beyond administrative borders and traditional settlement structures. Furthermore, greater attention has been paid to extremely relevant aspects such as environmental ones, those of land consumption or those linked to the agricultural and rural world.

Abstract
Furthermore, greater attention has been paid to extremely relevant aspects such as environmental ones, those of land consumption or those linked to the agricultural and rural world.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
