Paisajes culturales para una sostenibilidad a escala urbana representados en el ámbito GIS. La ciudad de Latina, del pasado a la contemporaneidad

The contribution aims to define a methodological investigation to document some examples of cultural landscapes as an expression of the identity of a place that is consolidated and stratified over time. The field of application was chosen the town of Latina, in southern Lazio, in particular the road axis of Viale Giuseppe Mazzini, of which it is proposed to detect, using a Geographic Information System the landscape data as a spatial data, georeferenced. It is believed, in fact, that the use of a GIS platform can promote the knowledge, management and communication of a place as a basis for proposing sustainability projects on an urban scale.
