This essay analyses a group of fragments (Paris, BnF, NAL, 2444, fols. 21-24) not included among the liturgical sources of Italian origin listed in Giacomo Baroffio's "Iter Liturgicum Italicum". These fragments belong to a twelfth-century Antiphoner likely produced in Central Italy. The script is characteristic of the Lazio region (romanesca), and notation is the so-called "notazione romana". The essay discusses the most interesting features of the notation and reveals the rarity of a few of the transmitted pieces, among which there is a prosula to a responsory. The appendices provide the complete edition of the texts and a transcriptions of the rarest chants.
