Iranian loanwords in Syriac seize ans après

14 years after the publication of my book on Iranian loanwords in Syriac, the Syriac Symposium in Paris (2022) gave me the opportunity to present in outline the changes I intend to make to the future second edition of the book. Even if the general structure of the book is still valid, the many reviews by colleagues and the publication of many other articles in the Syriac lexicographical field make a number of additions and corrections necessary, some of which I describe in this article.
