Abstract
In recent times we are experiencing the season of sustainability and some more or less radical proposals for a Green (New) Deal concern the economic, environmental and social crisis. In this context, there has been a proliferation of studies on sustainable private law and responsible consumption. After outlining some features of the figure of the “sustainable” contract, this study aims to critically reflect on whether contract law in its sustainable guise can be considered a useful tool for addressing the current system crisis or whether, instead, it ends up endorsing only illusory sustainability while continuing to pursue economic growth and protect the competitive market.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
