Restauro e patrimonio architettonico. Voci dal mondo |Conservation and Architectural Heritage. Voices from the World

This book is a collection of contributions about architectural conservation gathered during the pandemic, as a series of international seminars organized within the courses of the Post-graduate School in Architectural Heritage and Landscape of “Sapienza” University of Rome. The aim is to offer interpretation keys to different approaches to the conservation of architectural heritage in the international context. The publication thus offers a comparison among contributions of scholars who study, teach and practice architectural conservation in different geo-cultural contexts, in different ways and languages. To ensure a “comparative” reading of the contents, and to open them to as wide an audience as possible, beyond the specialism of the topic, a double version of each essay is offered, in the author’s original language and in Italian or in English translation.
