This paper focuses on book production related to the intellectual milieux of Thessalonike during the early Palaeologan age. In particular, the essay examines the circle around Demetrios Triklinios, the well-known philologist and editor of classical texts, with a focus not only on Demetrios himself, but also on the figures of Nikolaos Triklines and Ioannes Katrarios, whose literary activity is also recon- structed. This is complemented by a list of manuscripts so far assigned to both De- metrios Triklinios and Ioannes Katrarios.
