This paper focuses on the history of the Roman colony of Tarracina in the period between the triumviral age and the Julio-Claudians, during which there was a remarkable urban renewal, especially with the renovation and embellishment of the buildings overlooking the forum. Important new data comes from the excavations of the Roman theatre, thanks also to new inscriptions of that period, some of them reissued here, some published for the first time, and relating to the triumvir Lepidus, to Agrippa, son-in-law of Augustus, and perhaps to a member of the Julio-Claudian dynasty.

Abstract
This paper focuses on the history of the Roman colony of Tarracina in the period between the triumviral age and the Julio-Claudians, during which there was a remarkable urban renewal, especially with the renovation and embellishment of the buildings overlooking the forum. Important new data comes from the excavations of the Roman theatre, thanks also to new inscriptions of that period, some of them reissued here, some published for the first time, and relating to the triumvir Lepidus, to Agrippa, son-in-law of Augustus, and perhaps to a member of the Julio-Claudian dynasty.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
