Biodiversity loss and the degradation of ecosystems continue at an alarming rate, harming people, the economy, and the climate. The study on biodiversity cannot be limited to legal and regulatory dimensions; an interdisciplinary approach is necessary to understand the complexity of the phenomenon and thus to identify preventive protection systems that are effective. For this reason, the volume takes an integrated multidisciplinary analytical approach, examining some of the most relevant profiles of the biodiversity issue within Europe, the United States of America, and China.

Abstract
Biodiversity loss and the degradation of ecosystems continue at an alarming rate, harming people, the economy, and the climate. The study on biodiversity cannot be limited to legal and regulatory dimensions; an interdisciplinary approach is necessary to understand the complexity of the phenomenon and thus to identify preventive protection systems that are effective. For this reason, the volume takes an integrated multidisciplinary analytical approach, examining some of the most relevant profiles of the biodiversity issue within Europe, the United States of America, and China.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
